A new rope climbing tower will shortly be added to the existing playground equipment at Maclean Park, Paraparaumu Beach, says Council’s Leisure and Open Spaces Asset Manager, Lex Bartlett said today.
“This is part of our on-going programme of upgrading playground assets throughout the district. Maclean Park is one of the really well used playgrounds and that’s particularly the case in the summer,” he said.
In order to install the new section, part of the playground site will need to be closed for about three weeks from the end of September. The rest of the playground will remain open during the construction period.
