The Kāpiti Coast is a great place to live. We’ve got stunning beaches, great bush walks, our iconic Kāpiti Island, and a fantastic community to go with it.
Unfortunately, the last six years have been plagued with conflict as a result of a lack of consultation, poor decision making and a reliance on debt to fund projects.
You deserve better!
I believe that it is time for a fresh chapter for the Kāpiti Coast.
With our improving connectivity, our community is in a strong position to thrive and prosper. I offer energy, enthusiasm and determination to lead us into an exciting new era where our children can find meaningful jobs, fewer workers have to commute daily to Wellington, and our older citizens can enjoy dignified and rewarding retirements.
I will achieve this by concentrating on four key areas:
