Murray Bell: Listen – Decide – Act
My role as your representative on the Paraparaumu Ward will be to listen to the community to ensure I gain a good understanding of the opinions and requirements of the local people.
I will work for cost effective, pragmatic solutions to the issues facing ourcommunity.
I will act prudently, maintaining and improving Council infrastructure
and services, while maintaining a sound financial position.
I trained as a Civil Engineer and have 10 years local government
experience in the design and build of infrastructure projects. More
recently I have been a senior manager in the public sector with over 15 years operational and policy experience in the environmental and energy sectors. I have managed teams of people, as well as significant budgets.
Wellington born and bred, I am married with two daughters who have
attended Paraparaumu College.
