A Kāpiti resident for 40 years, the last 25 years in Waikanae, my community involvement has included Jaycees, School and Kindergarten Committees,Chairperson of Kapanui School Board of Trustees, Life Member of Coasters Musical Theatre, member of the Waikanae Community Board, including 3 years as Chairperson and currently Waikanae Ward
Councillor.

Waikanae issues include:
Parking: I will continue to advocate for:
A Waikanae Beach park’n ride facility with express shuttles to the station at peak times.
Extension of commuter rail services to Ōtaki.
Provision for all day parking for those working in our town centre.
Footpath and access ways:
Community Board involvement in deciding priorities for repairs and
maintenance.
Amalgamation:
I will promote the retention of Community Boards and I will work for the best outcomes for Kāpiti in any future governance arrangement.
