A 66-year-old woman from Germany has died in hospital following a crash on Courtenay Place on Monday night, 24 February.
The woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street around 8:25 p.m. She was taken to hospital but sadly passed away this afternoon.
Her family has since travelled to New Zealand, and police are providing them with support while liaising with the German Embassy.
An investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing, and no charges have been laid at this stage.
