Police are appealing for sightings of a green Ford Festiva as they investigate a series of suspicious church fires in Masterton on Saturday, 22 February.
The vehicle was seen leaving the scene of one of the fires, and investigators are working to track its movements in the hours before and after the incidents. The car was later found abandoned on Mikimiki Road on Sunday, 23 February, but no occupants were located despite a significant search in the area.
Authorities urge anyone with information—especially those who may have seen the vehicle—to contact Police via 105, referencing file number 250222/1673. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 0800 555 111.
