A public meeting on the state of New Zealand’s health system will be held in Porirua on Tuesday, 4 March 2025, providing residents with an opportunity to voice concerns and hear from patients, doctors, nurses, and specialists about challenges facing healthcare at both local and national levels.
The meeting will take place at Mungavin Hall, 1/5 Mungavin Avenue, Porirua, from 7 pm to 8 pm. Organisers stress that a well-functioning health system is essential for all New Zealanders and encourage the public to participate in the discussion.
Hosted by Patient Voice Aotearoa, the event is supported by key organisations, including the New Zealand Nurses Organisation, the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, ASMS Toi Mata Hauora, Hauora Taiwhenua Rural Health Network, and the Butler Health Action Group.
