Wellington Phoenix defender Tiana Jaber is set to represent Lebanon in an upcoming four-nation tournament in Kathmandu, Nepal, during the international window.
Jaber, who earned her first international call-up last year, has become a defensive mainstay for the Phoenix in the 2024-25 A-League Women’s season. She has played in all 15 matches so far and is closing in on 50 A-League appearances.
The 23-year-old will depart for Nepal after the Phoenix’s round 16 match against Perth Glory on Sunday night. Lebanon will open their campaign against Myanmar on Monday, followed by matches against hosts Nepal on Thursday and Kyrgyzstan on Sunday. The top two teams will advance to the final on February 26.
The tournament serves as preparation for Lebanon’s 2026 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, set to begin in June. Jaber will return to Wellington in time for the Phoenix’s round 17 clash against Adelaide United at Porirua Park on March 2.
