NZ Sea Adventures is offering PADI Open Water Diver courses in Porirua, providing an opportunity to gain an internationally recognised scuba diving certification. The course includes online study, pool training, and open water dives, making it an ideal choice for those looking to start their diving journey.

Course Structure
- PADI eLearning (8-14 hours) – Online theory to be completed before practical training.
- First weekend – Induction and pool skills training at an on-site dive pool.
- Second weekend – Four supervised open water dives to practice and confirm skills.
Rental equipment is provided for all sessions.
Entry Requirements
- Must be at least 10 years old (conditions apply for ages 10 and 11).
- Must be able to swim 200m and float or swim for 10 minutes.
- Must complete a Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire to confirm fitness for diving.
Upcoming Course Dates
- 8, 9, 15 and 16 March
- 5, 6, 12 and 13 April
Courses run throughout the year. Custom course options are available upon request.
Course Location
NZ Sea Adventures is located at 9 Marina View, Mana, Porirua, just north of the Paremata bridge on State Highway 1.
Course Fees
- Total course fee: $750
- Deposit: $300 (non-refundable but transferable)
- Balance of $450 due before pool training begins.
- Includes: eLearning course, dive gear rental, pool sessions, and sea dives.
- 10% discount on in-store dive gear purchases during the course.
A $20 discount is available for every additional person booked at the same time.
