Oxford Terrace in Epuni, Lower Hutt has been closed near Brees Street while Police respond to an ongoing incident.
Authorities have not released details about the nature of the incident, but the road closure is expected to remain in place for some time. Police are urging the public to avoid the area.
“There is no ongoing threat to public safety,” a Police spokesperson said.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes until the situation is resolved.
