Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was assaulted and seriously injured in Miramar yesterday.
Emergency services responded to the incident at around 4:55 p.m. on Miramar Avenue, where a group of young people reportedly approached the victim before the assault occurred. The man fell and struck his head on the concrete, sustaining serious injuries.
He was transported to hospital and continues to receive treatment.
Authorities are now working to determine the circumstances of the attack and identify those responsible.
“We urge anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have CCTV footage, to come forward,” police said in a statement.
