Help Identify Man Found Deceased in Wellington

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify a man found deceased on Wellington’s south coast on 27 December.

Officers were alerted at approximately 10:40 a.m. to the body of a man in the rockpools at Breaker Bay. The death is being treated as unexplained, and investigations are underway to determine his identity and what transpired.

The man is described as Caucasian, around 60 years old, of average height and build. He has short grey-white hair and is clean-shaven. He was wearing blue jeans, black socks, brown walking shoes, a blue t-shirt under a black long-sleeve button-up shirt, and a grey Kathmandu light jacket with green trim.
