Te Rauparaha Arena will transform into a vibrant hub of music, lights, and skating excitement tonight as Skatescool NZ hosts its inaugural Roller Disco. This lively event, open to the public, promises to deliver fun and entertainment for skaters of all ages and abilities.
The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with a 50-minute lesson designed for both beginners and confident skaters. Participants will be divided into two groups based on their skill level to ensure a tailored and enjoyable experience. At 7 p.m., the arena will fully embrace the disco spirit with a 90-minute open skate session, welcoming everyone to join the rink regardless of experience.
Skate hire is available for $5, with attendees opting for the lesson receiving first choice of skates. Tickets are priced at $20 for the Lesson + Disco Combo or $15 for individual sessions. Organisers advise arriving 10 minutes early if hiring skates and remind attendees to bring or purchase socks.
