Wellington Police are appealing for sightings of missing man Terrence Jameson, who was last seen at around 9 a.m. on Friday, 25 October. The 74-year-old was on the walking track directly behind Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt at the time of his disappearance.
“Terrence used this track often and would regularly ride his electric one-wheel scooter between the duck pond through to Akatarawa Road Bridge,” says Detective Inspector Haley Ryan. “On the morning of 25 October, he had his electric one-wheel scooter with him, but on this day he could have been carrying it, which would give the appearance of him carrying a black box.”
The missing man is described as possibly carrying or wearing distinctive red basketball boots. Police have concerns for Terrence’s safety and are urging anyone who saw him on 25 October or has information that could assist in locating him to contact the police on 105, quoting file number 241025/6976.
Residents in the Harcourt Park and Brown Owl area can expect a continued police presence today as officers intensify their search efforts for Terrence.
