The Friends of Pātaka Winter Music Series, a beloved annual event in Porirua, is set to return for its 19th year. Sunday, 21 July: The Zephyr Flute Quartet

Kicking off the series on 21 July is The Zephyr Flute Quartet, featuring Barbara Hill on flute, Anne Loeser on violin, Victoria Jaenecke on viola, and Jane Young on cello. These accomplished international musicians, who have performed with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) and various overseas orchestras, will present a programme of music by Mozart, Rossini, and Gordon Jacob. On 28 July, the indie folk band Even the Lost will take the stage. Hailing from Wellington, this band draws inspiration from 90s folk, rock, and pop. Sunday, 4 August: Wellington Male Voice Choir

The Wellington Male Voice Choir, under the direction of Music Maestro Mark Stamper, will perform on 4 August. Having been jamming together for two years, they play a diverse range of music, from RnB and rock to blues, reggae, and Polynesian music.
