A pilot and passenger walked away uninjured after a motorised glider crash-landed in a barley field in Te Horo.
Constable Mike Howland said the aircraft crash-landed in a barley field east of the railway lines at about 2pm yesterday.
The pilot, from Tauranga, and passenger, from Pukerua Bay, both in their 50s, walked away uninjured.
The glider appeared to have flipped when it landed.
Fire and ambulance services attended and the Civil Aviation Authority is investigating.
