Kāpiti Coast District Libraries have lots of free activities planned for children this summer. Go online, or pick up a brochure from your local library to see how you can be part of this great summer events programme.
Kāpiti Bookbusters Summer Reading Club starts Monday 5th December and runs until Friday 20th January. Register your 5-12 year-old children for this great programme aimed at inspiring and encouraging children to develop a love of reading and libraries. This year for the first time the programme will be offered at Paekākāariki Library. Registrations open on Monday 28th November 2011.
Get in a festive mood and join us the week before Christmas for Christmas crafts and stories. Each of our four libraries at Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Ōtaki, and Paekākāariki will host craft activities.
January brings more wonderful events. Mary Kippenberger and Peter Charlton-Jones will be weaving their storytelling magic at three Libraries on Monday 16th January. As well as enjoying a storytelling extravaganza, join us for more craft and story sessions at Paraparaumu, Waikanae, and Ōtaki Libraries.
Remember all sessions are free. Fun and smiles guaranteed.
